All Waterfront amenities and attractions will be open during the construction of the new Park at Penn’s Landing. Some Waterfront amenities are seasonal and operate from May through September and November through March. Please check the attraction's website for operational hours.

Arrive by Public Transit

Arrive at any or all of your favorite Waterfront destinations by one of these modes of public transportation:

• RiverLink Ferry (seasonal)
• Philly Phlash (seasonal)
• SEPTA Market-Frankford Line
• SEPTA Bus Routes 5, 12, 17, 21, 33, 38, 42, and 44 (except routes 25 and 48) have new start and end locations currently in effect due to construction on the new Park at Penn's Landing.

Arrive on Foot or Wheels

You can access any or all of your favorite waterfront destinations on foot, skateboard, rollerblade, or bike via the Delaware River Trail. The trail runs 3.3 miles from Pier 70 in South Philadelphia to Penn Treaty Park in Fishtown, including interim trail segments between Tasker Street and Washington Avenue. Download the Trail Map and review our safety tips and best practices for navigating the trail.

• Walking: Some sidewalks or pedestrian paths may be closed during the new park construction at Penn’s Landing. Access to the Delaware River Waterfront via Chestnut and Walnut Streets is no longer available. However, the best walking routes to the trail from Center City are South, Spruce, and Market Streets to Columbus Boulevard.
   
• Biking: There are two Indego Bike stations along Columbus Boulevard, both of which have easy access to the Delaware River Trail: Race Street Pier, N. Columbus Blvd.; and Foglietta Plaza, 3 Dock St. Check for real-time updates on Indego bike availability at these locations.

Arrive by Car

Parking along Penn’s Landing will be limited due to construction on the new Park at Penn’s Landing. We encourage visitors to arrive at the Waterfront by public transit, carpooling, rideshare, or using the Delaware River Trail. 

Upon arriving on the Philadelphia Waterfront, please follow all construction signs and barriers to avoid restricted areas. Be mindful of the increased heavy vehicle, bicycle, and pedestrian traffic along the Delaware River Trail.

Visitors arriving by car can expect increased traffic around the construction zone and reduced parking near the construction sites. Follow posted signs. 

The parking fee for DRWC-owned lots (Market and Lombard Street) is a flat rate of $20 per day. Parking lots accept cash or credit cards. Please note that parking rates are subject to change. Tailgating is prohibited, and parking is limited.
